Functional annoyances include the overly quick decay on the frequency peak hold, and periodic audio and visual glitchiness when running under Logic. NuGen Audio is aware of the issues and says they will be addressing them in future updates. Minor moans aside, Monofilter 4 is a handy tool and well worth the upgrade.

With IID, sound is localized because of the difference of level between the left and right channels; users can manipulate the relative levels of left and right across an adjustable frequency range. With ITD, sound is localized using the difference in the arrival times of sounds coming from the left and right channels, so users alter the relative time arrival difference, also across an adjustable frequency range. Both processors are usable and adjustable separately or will function together.
As its name implies, Monofilter uses a filter algorithm to control stereo width and phase correlation in the spectrum area below the “higher up” localization frequencies. There is a choice of a zero latency filter, linear phase for the best quality but with slight processing delay, and HQ mode for high-definition but more CPU usage.

Monofilter from NUGEN Audio is a bass mixing plug-in that can be used to enhance the bass in your mixes by helping to center them in the stereo field, to correct low frequency phase issues and more. The plug-in can be used on mono or stereo tracks for mixing, mastering, enhancing vinyl samples and more.
Phase issues in the low end of a mix can be caused by stereo mixing effects such as delays and choruses. Also, if samples have phase issues and are used in the production, phasing can be present in your mix as well. This can make the bass frequencies in your mix sound hollow or weak. To improve upon this, you can add Monofilter to your mix groups or effects returns, and use the phase control parameter to align the phase of the low frequencies in the left versus right channels.
NUGEN Audio updates SigMod to v22.214.171.124 - support for VST2 and AU hosting
Stereoizer also has a dynamics feature to introduce left/right movement modulation. You can tempo-lock in subdivisions and you have a choice of sine, triangle, square or random wave modulation sources. For my music mixing, using this on individual stereo instruments is a winner. It can be ever so subtle and not intrusive at all.

The Stereoplacer plug-in works by allowing you to separate the different frequency ranges of mono or stereo audio (https://vgtdecor.ru/hack/?patch=9510) files in to discrete bands. It then gives you spatial control over these bands, allowing you to independently reposition them within the stereo field.
In addition, you may solo or mute any of the EQ nodes and control the level of the background relative to the selected EQ band while in solo. This feature in 0 percent is true solo of just the frequency and its current panned location.
Using Stereoizer on completed mixed songs or individual mono and/or stereo tracks is easy. I found it perfect for widening mono pad tracks where I had added stereo delays, chorus and Haas effects. I liked the reassurance that no matter how wide it sounded in stereo, it was mono compatible—there is a button to check out the effect in mono right on the GUI!
In Pro Tools HDX 2021/4, I inserted Stereoizer on a finished mix track and set the upper and lower frequency bounds of the IID effect and left the ITD effect off. There is the adjustable resolution “wedge” for adjusting the effect’s density, and the focus parameter will constrain the range (or not) in which the IID algorithm operates.
These width controls range from completely mono at their minimum point, to completely unchanged at their maximum. The changes are clearly displayed in an easily intuitive stereo width envelope.
Only the current version may be transferred. Upgraded (old licenses) are not available for transfer.
Now you can simply dial in your True-peak limit and let ISL take care of the rest. ISL is a transparent look-ahead limiter designed to allow you to get on with creative audio.
If solid or natural sounding bass is a requirement in your recording projects, Monofilter (learn this here now) provides the foundation for real power and definition. The ear finds it difficult, if not impossible to determine the direction of low frequencies. This can often contribute to a lack of clarity and focus in the mix.

The Stereoizer plug-in is intended to give you control over the stereo spread and depth existing within stereo tracks, and also to add width to mono tracks. It is designed to manipulate the stereo image yet maintain a natural sound without adding unwanted artifacts into your mix. The software does this by utilizing specialized algorithms that are designed to manipulate two naturally occurring localization cues that the ear uses to perceive location – IID (Inter-aural Intensity Difference) and the ITD (Inter-aural Time Difference).
The Stereoizer by NUGEN Audio is a stereo image manipulation plug-in that can be used in mastering, mixing, sound design and other applications. It is compatible with Mac and Windows and requires use of a host program that supports RTAS, VST or AU plug-ins.

In linear phase mode, there is a phase correlation fader to set the amount of relative phase correction of the L/R channels by comparing the stereo input source to Monofilter’s output, or do what I do and just use auto phase to adjust for maximum correlation automatically. The plug-in has a beautiful “correlation relative to frequency” display where you can compare the input phase to the output easily.

The Stereoizer is intended for use in various ways over a wide spectrum of applications. Use the Stereoizer to distance clashing elements of a mix from one another within the stereo field. Use in mastering situations to add subtle width enhancements to the mix without sacrificing low end focus. Use in mixing or sound design to add width to synth pads, making them more noticeable in the mix without being overbearing.
Stereoplacer is an advanced fine-tune parametric balancing control. You can tune each band into specific frequencies and move the frequency content around in the stereo sound stage. Just choose the position you want, and let Stereoplacer take care of preserving the balance of the original sounds.
A direct-draw interface and detailed spectrum analysis make it easy to quickly identify and specifically fine-tune your audio. Couple this with EQ matching via sonic fingerprinting and you have some unique possibilities.
Monofilter 4 from NUGEN Audio (https://vgtdecor.ru/content/uploads/files/download/nugen-audio-monofilter-4-keygen.zip) is a bass mixing plug-in that can be used to enhance the bass in your mixes by helping to center them in the stereo field, correcting low-frequency phase issues. The plug-in can be used on mono or stereo tracks for mixing, mastering, enhancing vinyl samples, and more.
In a live context, you can use Monofilter to maintain even power distribution, and to reduce the width of hard-panned effects. This can be important in larger venues where many audience members' listening experience may be dominated by a single speaker stack, leaving them unable to experience the full stereo image.
The Stereometer shows a hazy cloud histogram of instantaneous stereo positions displayed as a ghostly, apparitional panorama between the left/right extremes. Brighter bursts indicate the focus of stereo energy; this is especially visible with centered mono signals.
I set the transition “ramp up” or stereo width envelope from a HPF corner frequency below; stereo sound is constrained using the low-width control. From this “wide mono,” I set it to open all the way up to full stereo width; this can ramp up suddenly and instantly if you desire.
Stereo synth bass - using the linear phase HQ mode first sweep the high pass filter up and back again. Then adjust the low frequency point and high frequency point to various settings, bypassing to compare - note how the bypassed signal sounds more phasey. Now use the mono and stereo monitoring options to listen as the frequencies are adjusted.
The Scope: Monofilter (click this link here now) is a stereo placement tool that allows the user to narrow certains parts of the frequency spectrum and how they are spread across the stereo field. On paper, that’s not a very new or exciting idea, but that quickly changes once you start playing around with Monofilter (see this here). On paper it also calls itself a “bass management” plugin, which it is, but I would say it is much more than that. First thing to note is the interface has a very intuitive layout that can be quickly understood. First there’s the horizontal axis controls which will work on the frequency level: rightmost control on the sets the highest operating frequency, middle control sets the lowest and the leftmost controls is a high-pass filter with fixed 12db/octave width. Then there’s the vertical axis which determines the stereo spread/narrow function, and this where NUGEN (https://vgtdecor.ru/hack/?patch=8995) came up with a clever implementation that allows the user to set the transitional range of the stereo narrowing/spreading. I can’t really recall any other plugin that allows this sort of processing and the closest thing that might resemble this are the multi-band implementation, which can’t cover this “transitional range” and will just set the stereo spreading across the frequency spectrum through cross-over points. Monofilter does something else entirely: you set the highest operating frequency and stereo spread with the right control and then narrow it down to the left towards mono. It’s important to say that there’s no extra stereo width here, with the max value being 100% for full “vanilla” stereo. Once you’re set with your spread and narrow frequency choices you can raise or lower mid and side signals, choose linear phase with a low end phase adjustment at the cost of some latency and some system load or pick minimum phase without the phase adjustment but without any latency or extra processing spent.

Stereoplacer redistributes the stereo balance by frequency in a practical way. Up to 10 color-coded parametric nodes can be used at the same time. When any node is selected, a detailed control zone indicates its filter type (be it bell, or high or low shelving curve), its center frequency, Q or resonance in the case of a shelving equalizer, and current panned position.
